My WP Mage earnings and strategy for July, 2010.
by Amy Kay Guenther
I’m still thrilled with how much money I’m making with WP Mage. I made an mp3 explaining my earnings, strategy, etc. I hope it encourages those of you who are new to the Mage, and helps you if you are unsure about buying it. It really is a powerful software like none other.
If you are interested in buying WPMage, be sure to sign up for my list to be the first to know if it becomes available again.

Hi Amy,
Just a little clarification, please. Did you state that you’re currently earning $2k-$4k per month from… 450 mage sites?
I’m just curious if that’s considered a good ROI in your opinion.
Would it take the “average” person the same level of time/energy/monetary commitment to earn the same per month?
Thanks,
George
admin on 07.08.2010
Yes, I think that’s a good ROI.
Well, I’m pretty average.
Doug on 07.08.2010
I’m curious, if you have a site that gets NO traffic, after a period of time do you delete it from you admin page and wipe it clean? I’m considering that for just a couple of mine…
Thanks!
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
No, I don’t start it over. I don’t think it would help. I just let it sit for a year until it’s time to renew. Then I decide whether or not to keep the domain. Often, if you let it sit, it will get some traffic from yahoo or bing, even if Google doesn’t like it.
It’s not BAD to start it over, but I don’t think it’s beneficial, either. If you have good results with doing that, please let me know. That would be SO interesting.

Amy, very encouraging! Thank you for sharing, I had slowed a lot as I have been focusing on Main Street Marketing. My biggest questions are:
1. Still waiting on approval for Ebay. I appreciate your explaining
the SEO advantage of Ebay.
2. How did you find your outsourcers in the Phillipines?
Thank you so much for all of your guidance. You have been
a BIG help to me and Rich is so dedicated to help those of
us that are trying to get into Ebay. I’m glad you put me in
touch with him.

Hi Amy
I just started with the Mage and looking forward to your updates

Amy,
Great info. I like the honest, straight forward tips. Thanks for sharing!
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
God was very good to me in how I found my outsourcers. I pretty much stumbled across them.
Keep plugging away!
Tim on 07.08.2010
Hi Amy,
You said you purchased a bunch of new .info domains, cpmaged them and they’re doing well. Because these are brand new sites how did you go about putting content on them. Are you drip feeding loads of content everyday, or did you upload a big chunk onto the site straight away????
It’s excellent advice to say go buy .info’s. It would be a great help and say how you approach putting the thousands of posts on them, because of new sites having no backlinks, indexing etc…
Great videos by the way Amy. I installed cpmage no problem!!! Thanks
Tim
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
For new .info’s, I usually post around 200 posts. Then wait 2 weeks, then I blast it with as many keywords as I gathered, hundreds or thousands. That may be reckless, but I like to work fast.
I also backdate the posts back 2-4 years, and forward date the rest for months to one year.

Hi Amy,
Thank you for sharing.
Do you use plugins like PHPBay and PHPZon on your sites?
Do you make the homepage static?
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
In the past, I was lazy and did not make a static home page. Those who are making more money DO make static home pages as Greg recommends. In the future, I will be sculpting my home/front pages.
I am not using phpbay or phpzon right now. But from what I hear, they are wonderful. Probably worth taking the time to figure out.

Amy,
Great to hear about your WPMage success!
Do you mind sharing on how you found your outsource workers?
Are they independent or do use use a service?
Thanks,
Rob
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
Really, I got lucky. Another Mage had a worker, and I asked if she had a friend, who I hired. Then the Mage had to let his worker go, so I hired her, too. So, no, I didn’t use a service. Saved me a lot of money!

Just wondering if their is a relationship between the number of visitors to your sites and the sites earning. What kind of visitor numbers would you expect to see to one of your better sites and what kind of conversion % do you get.
Joe on 07.08.2010
Hi Amy,
Wow, so you’ve basically made the bulk of you money with the Mage by just creating sites with mostly expired domains, correct?
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
Honestly, I don’t know those exact numbers. Maybe someday when I ‘m bored (yeah, right) I”ll do those calculations. I’m pretty sure that more traffic=more money, though.
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
Again, I don’t have exact numbers, but I do believe most of my money is coming from my early expired domains I built.
Tim on 07.08.2010
Thanks for all your help Amy, it’s invaluable!!!

hi Amy Thanks for all your help 2 questions 1. how do i mix my content sources should i use yahoo answers with flicker photos or some other mix dose it depends on what the site is ? or not can you give some tips on that. 2. can i use keywords generated with word wizard for a site that i will monetize with eBay or amazon or they are only good for info. sites with Adsense and clickbank thanks again
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.08.2010
YOu can mix them any way you want. I usually use all sources except ezine. Use keyword mage for ebay or amazon sites.

First off Thank you for sharing Amy,
I really loved your Dedicated Server & VPS’s video and good recommendation for Liquid web, this was a big question and you answered it superbly.
In this MP3 again you reconfirmed that I’m onto something here.
Got Mage 2 months ago and recently got my EPN approval with the fantastic site that Rich made, I also got activcollab to manage everything with my Filipinos but am still having difficulties finding employees that are grasping the Mage. I sure would love to know how you sort them or your requirements ???
I only buy expired .com and we all fish for domains on a daily basis. I tried posting with a 1000 keywords with CP but didn’t like the outcomes, so I recently shift towards building sites with a single post in a specific category and then add more categories & posts afterward using posting Mage from the dashboard, the result is a nice and clean look . Yes it takes longer but I have a strong feeling this will work well for me. Thanks for Sharing your experiences.

Hi Amy,
Thank you very much for sharing. Great information. I am very happy to know that you are doing well, and that some others are doing even better by using something I had in mind, such as using categories and adding a good number of keywords and plug ins like Web Traffic Genius.
To your success and all the Mage community,
Good luck!

Is your profit of $2000 per month Gross Profit before expenses or Net Profit after you pay for out sourcing?
Amy Kay Guenther on 07.09.2010
Gross, before expenses.
mike on 07.11.2010
hi you say that Categories helps to get page rank dose that means that all posts should be Categorized or it is ok if there are some Categories and some of the posts are Categorized ?
Keen on 08.02.2010
Hey Amy,
Good to hear from you again =) You might remember the kid who just started a while back when you started this site. At the moment I already get about $1500 a month. But its been stuck there for months as well!
I liked hearing the tips you had in the audio. I couldn’t make the Assasination (though I wish I could have!) to get some tips. Hopefully there will be another one though. Other than that I’m looking forward to hearing more tips from you!
Nick on 08.02.2010
Hi,
I do have a question regarding domains.
As the domains are 5 bucks but with renewal fees it comes to something like 16 17 bucks per domain. that gets the cost to almost 3 times. I am new to this so want to know if that how it is or am I doing it wrong?
Nick
Amy Kay Guenther on 08.02.2010
That is correct. You’re doing it right.
